Setting up a predictable path for execution of a shiny app on AWS

How do I set up an shiny app so it will respond at a fixed public IP address and path?  I have a copy of the Shiny Server AMI on AWS with a public IP address.  I am able to test my app within the IDE.  It seems to use the url http://ipaddress/p/nnnn/ where nnnn changes with each new browser session.  What process do I have to go through to enable it to respond on a predictable address (http:ipaddress/myapp) ?
