Erin,

Great to hear and thanks for the heads. Does it seem fully functional with the keyboard popping up and everything? I mainly ask because we haven't changed anything in this respect (and don't think our editor ACE has either) so I'd be a little surprised if everything worked perfectly. We're still waiting for ACE to fully support tablets so we can too:

Hey Josh:

the only thing that I had to change was the "auto capitalize". Otherwise all is well.

Thanks,
Erin

Hi Erin,

It doesn't work for me. The keyboard shows up (almost) fine but then I cant', for example, delete characters in the command line prompt.

Which browser are you using?

Thanks,
Miren

Hi
I'm a long time looking at it to know whether or not this software will be installed on Android tablets!
I was so glad to see this message.
If it really does work in Andriod tablets for statistical works , is excellent
Thank you.

With spending only 15 minutes, I installed RStudio on a micro-server (Linode.com 1GB Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit, with StackServer LAMP), and connected through Chrome with Both an iOS 8.1 and an Android Jelly Bean as the test bed.

My problem was with the virtual keyboard at the Android device. Once the Keyboard was sent back to see results in full screen, I couldn't get the keyboard back. Good news is, an external Bluetooth keyboard is functioning.

For iOS 8.1, the viewport is moving up and down on the browser. But the virtual keyboard seems to be working.

If there is any specific test cases, I will be glad to test and publish results.
