Shortcut Key to Maximize Code/Source Window

Is there (or would it be possible to add) a shortcut key to maximize the size of the source or code window. When I'm running line-by-line code the size of the window matters and I dislike having to manually click the maximize button when it's so easy to move between them on the keyboard (ctrl +1, ctrl +2).

Brandon,

Thanks for the feedback and we do have a few requests for this. I'll chalk up another on on our feature request list.

I also would like this. And a suggestion for the shortcut(s):
Besides perhaps a general one, you could use the same ones that you already use to switch to a window.

So for example, if the source code is active, and you press CTRL+1, it would become maximized (just as its size gets restored if you press CTRL+2). Pressing CTRL+1 again on the maximized source window could restore its size again. Similarly for the other windows as well, of course.

Another request: It would be great if there was a simple way to maximize a window to occupy the whole screen. For example, for plots it is often desirable.

Thanks!

This is the only reason I have to use my mouse in RStudio, and I max/min the console all the time. A shortcut would be very nice.
